Responsibilities:
Analyze and predict market requirements
• Study relevant publications and web sites about the industry
• Talk to regular to regulators, wealth management providers, consultants and other experts in the industry
• Analyze RFPs and other prospect information about their needs and put that in relation to what we have.
• Perform competitive analysis and position the company in relation to its competition
• Write high level business requirements that outline the enhancements needed for the respective markets or prospects
• Create in depth analysis of local markets in the region and recommend a market entry strategy
• Talk to other participants in the market and help identify new partners as well as acquisition opportunities
• Occasionally participate in due diligence
Participate in specifications
• Explain business requirements to the team of business analysts in China who are primarily responsible for writing specifications
• Review specifications from the business analysts and make sure they fit market and customer expectations
• Occasionally create specifications in areas of special expertise or in cases where the BA team doesn’t have the bandwidth to create them themselves
Help prioritize and oversee product development
• Own the local South East Asian product road map and prioritize the local developments according to market needs
• Co own the global product road map and make sure the prioritization maximizes the products market potential
• Regularly review the status of the development and highlight any delays and risks and help ensure the development is following the product road map
• Look for internal and external product partnerships and help determine “make or buy” decisions
Support the pre-sales
• Helps assess RFPs that have been classified from sales as potentials fit for the product
• Help complete RFPs in particular where it relates to the product roadmap
• Occasionally demo the product to prospect, customers and partners (There is an existing pre sales team who are primarily responsible for product demos)
• Listen in calls with prospective customers to understand their particular requirements and help create a solution for them
• Help create business cases for customers and prospects with regards to the use of the wealth station product and help determine the value of our solution as input for a pricing decision
Help represent the product in the region
• Be an active participant in the creation of regional marketing materials like brochures, presentations etc.
• Become a spokesperson that can speak to reporters knowledgeable about our industry, trends and our solutions for customers
• Occasionally speak at events and represent the company and the product
Travel and ad hoc activities
frequent international travel to customers and prospect and to the development team
