Strategy and Financial Performance
• Directly responsible for articulating the product strategy and executing on the annual operating plan
• Directly responsible for product P&L, joint responsibility for origination process, pricing and management of trade assets
• Directly responsible for understanding customer needs and developing the local client Trade value propositions that will address them
• Directly responsible for driving investment business cases and business operating model
• Drive Central revenue initiatives locally by ensuring that country action plans are in place and revenue targets are achieved
• Determine local product pricing and monitor collection of fee and float across products.
• Develop jointly with the Sales team a local Product & Sales strategy to meet regional and country revenue targets, in line with the overall Transaction Banking strategy
• Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to capture the opportunities, mitigate the threats and deliver financial performance. Recommend and plan actions to build or reinforce our competitive edge
Leadership
• Provide leadership to commercialize global aspirations
• Act as change agent to grow the business exponentially and transform our profile in the marketplace
• Be recognized as a subject matter expert, continuously driving leading-edge product development
• Efficient internal and external stakeholder communication and management
Product Management and Development
• Provide product solutioning support for complex deals or RFPs and sponsor them to conclusion
• Manage projects within the approved timeframe and budget
• Sponsor launches of product enhancements, new products or new platforms as required. Work jointly with Sales and Marketing to develop collaterals for local market, communicate product launched, organize customer events and develop a sales campaign strategy to ensure that the new products meet planned volume and revenue targets
• Identify and market-size new business opportunities and revenue pools and articulate the product capabilities needed to seize a share of them
• Act as the main conduit for championing to Central Product all investment cases(BRD or PAR) for product development or enhancements and for local regulatory requirements
Clients
• Joint responsibility with Sales for developing, improving and leveraging senior clients contacts within key local platinum accounts with a primary focus on Trade with a view to expand cross-sell in FX and Cash.
• Understand the needs of customers and prospects, and implement structures and solutions to meet these needs
• Work with operations to improve overall service standards and to ensure that quality of service to customers remains superior to competition
• Maintain high level client interaction. Approximately 15% of your time should be spent on client-related activities
• Establish a strategy that drives a customer-centric view into Transaction Banking with activities including but not limited to focus groups, customer surveys and VoC
Governance
• Ensure Country compliance on Group standard for Audit, Control and financial reporting
• Maintain the product programs and PPG/CPA database as per zero tolerance guidelines
• Ensure products adhere to local regulatory requirements
