As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for both strategic & financial operations of this pan-African business. The successful candidate will thrive in a highly dynamic environment & will utilise a commercial skill set in developing the business further.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop a strong and practical set of controls and processes
* Expected to set standards of excellence in all areas of finance
* Planning & Reporting of the day-to-day and longer term Operations of the Finance Department
* Work closely with MD in establishing short and medium term financial targets
* Lead, grow, and develop a strong country Finance team of specific functional experts to ensure effective financial support to the business

Requisitos :


* Proven experience across all areas of finance, including analysis, statutory accounting, treasury, financial reporting, supply-chain and systems implementation.
* Strong technical ability with an appreciation of IFRS
* High impact communication/presentation skills and the ability to develop good working relationships internally and externally.
* Must demonstrate strong influencing skills & thrive in a highly dynamic environment
* Significant experience at FD level with responsibility for a country business unit generating revenue of at least 250 million USD+
* Prior FMCG or Retail experience is essential
