Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for managing daily import/export bills operations of about 50 staff, reporting to the Trade Operations Manager
Actively participates in the re-engineering of operational workflows and the respective trade related system projects to maintain effective operation workflow
Assists the Trade Operations Manager to direct and control the overall operations of import/export bills in the respective section
Coordinates with other departments to resolve the administrative/operational issues
Recommends actions in relations to change in laws, Uniform Customs and Practices, government regulations and Bank’s policies which will affect import transactions
Reviews and makes decisions on complex matters relating to import/export bills and significant discrepancies
Visits customers upon the request of Marketing Manager and Trade Operations Manager
Ensures the operational staff are well trained in all aspects regarding systems training and relevant regulatory trainings

Requisitos :


Requirements:
Degree holder with minimum of 7 years’ banking experience particularly in Trade Operations, 5 years of which in supervisory/management level
Exposure in trade related system project with knowledge at electronic banking is an advantage
Thorough knowledge of commercial laws, government regulations and bank’s operational policies and procedures
Strong management skills and able to work independently under pressure
With ability to adopt to a fast paced environment
Excellent problem solving skills and sound risk management sense
Good communication skills in both spoken and written English/Chinese
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Able to work under Typhoon and Black Rainstorm situation
Able to work on HK public holidays
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9 pm to 6 am
Additional shift allowance will be offered
