US company is looking to recruit an internal controls manager. The company have a European headquarters based in Belgium and due to an internal promotion are now looking to fill this position.
As an internal control manager you will be responsible for the development, implementation and follow up of audits in order to ensure the financial stability of the organisation.
Duties include:
oImproving the quality and efficiency of the audit work.
oCoaching of Senior and junior staff
oManaging and planning various audits
oAnalysing and evaluating potential issues and impacts of these issues
oOrganising tasks for team members
oCommunicating issues and ideas in a clear, logical and concise manner to local management, both in written and verbal.
oExecuting and completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision
oProving Assistance to the Senior Manager with developing and improving audit programs.
oAdvising and assisting other team members.
oEfficiently handling situations in which information is limited and uncertainty is always present
oProviding local management with proposals and best practices on how to eliminate potential weaknesses and inefficiencies
The role will also involve International travel, mainly within Europe but with occasional trips to Asia and US. This will amount to about 25% of your time.
The ideal candidate will have 4/5 years experience in a big 4 environment, or internal audit experience in a multi national company. |
