Serves as the key back up to the Credit Products Officer in handling all aspects of clients' financing needs. This includes the underwriting and documentation of transactions, as well as the ongoing maintenance and management of the portfolio. Also supports the entire Client Team in ensuring that the overall client experience is favorable and that the Client Team is well positioned to expand the relationship. CPA must possess solid analytical and technical capabilities and a demonstrated ability to broadly apply these skills. Written work requires little modification, may require some guidance with respect to focus and scope. BA, BS degree required, typically has 3 or more years of solid experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
Job Description
• Participate in the client selection process and development of account strategies.
• Assist in the recommendation of credit facilities, credit exposure strategies and risk ratings for the clients.
• Assist in due diligence of clients
• Prepare portfolio reports, industry reviews and perform other general portfolio management functions.
• Liaise with documentation group and other support functions such as legal, compliance and finance.
• Be responsible for ensuring portfolio credit quality to Bank standards while working closely with business partners to generate adequate financial returns for the bank from the assigned portfolio.
