We feel that with your record you might be overqualified or too experienced for the job….
Although at first this might seem as a lost cause, this question actually could give you the opportunity to share some strong arguments about your desire to commit to and grow within the company. Structure your answer in such a way that you demonstrate your long-term interest in the corporation and how you would like to see yourself prove your skills and through your best performance reach opportunities for further development. Mention that key to a corporate success is the strong talented team behind it. Also emphasize that due to your past experience and knowledge, the company will get a faster return on their investment in you. Finish by saying that a growing and innovative company can never have too much talent.

Define your management style?

This is where your previous company research should help. At this point you should be well aware of the rewarded corporate policy and you should further have confirmed that their workstyle fits yours. Build your answer to demonstrate how your management style will complement the needs of the company. Do you know what the management styles are? Here is a brief overview of some of them:
Task oriented – getting the work done; identifying problematic areas and designing a solution
Results-oriented – focus on how decisions would affect the bottom line and work from there
Team-Oriented – making sure that the team is motivated and challenged enough to produce the best results
Participative – allowing other people to participate in the decision making process and the delegating responsibility to others

Tell me about a time when your team encountered a problem, how did you reach a good resolution?
Teamwork is very important in any corporation. Focus on your experience and demonstrate through examples how you were able to accomplish results. Show that you value working relationships, understand the importance to delegate and mediate within a team and how you have previously motivated other people to work for a common goal. Mention projects that have been successful and that have been recognized as such by the superiors. Chose examples when you had a crucial role for the success in the project. If you can, share how you have performed as a team but also how your own individual work had brought irreplaceable value to the outcome.

Tell me about a time when you had to take an important decision at work…
This question is looking to evaluate your initiative, flexibility and determination. Show how in previous situations you have thought logically and wisely to arrive to the best decision at the time. Show that you do not react prematurely and that you have the capability to take a step back, evaluate the situation and make a good judgment. Taking a decision is a demonstration of your willingness and readiness to take responsibility, thus show, using examples, how you have successfully done so before.

Your computer literacy level
If you have sent your typed CV through email it is very clear that you have good (or high) computer literacy using the Internet and Word (possibly MS Office). Thus, including such information is unnecessary and only takes up valuable space in your CV – remember that your CV conventionally would be between 1-2 A4 pages (unless you have many years of relevant experience, when you can type a maximum of 3 pages). However, do not miss this opportunity to include skills and qualifications that would set you apart from the rest of the candidates. Professional knowledge of SAP or other applications are a major plus so do not leave them out from your CV.
