How Growinfinance.com started?



After many years working in London in recruitment, we observed that there was a gap of specialised job boards in some geographical areas relevant within the financial sector, and the specialised job boards that existed were excessively restrictive and not adapted to real client needs. Dec 7, 2009 After several analyses on market intelligence and strategy, we decided to set up this project in order to cover this unmet demand. As a result of this decision, Growinfinance.com started up in May 2008, and it took us less than a year to turn it into live. Growinfinance.com went online on the 25th of March of 2009, and since then we have had an exponential growth. Our main focus is on the USA and Europe, and we are also growing in Asia and the Middle East. Growinfinance is becoming a popular specialized job board within the financial and the banking sectors. What makes us different from the other job boards: High qualifications of our candidates: more than 70% have a specialized Master, MBA, Postgraduate Degree or a PhD. The specialism & experience: Our candidates backgrounds are within the financial and the banking sector, and they have worked in one of the following areas: accountancy, audit, compliance & legal, human resources & recruitment, information technology, M&A, operations, quantitative analytics, research, risk management, sales & marketing, strategy & planning, trading and treasury. Companies and Business Schools advertise jobs and courses for free. Our main target is to offer a wide range of career alternatives to our candidates. Candidates never have to pay for using our services. To sum up, our business model is innovative and original. We keep working to achieve a difference in the financial markets and our goal is to become a top tier job board within 2010.
